Welcome — why I built this place
A small corner of the internet that's entirely mine, for thinking out loud.
I've wanted a single place to put things for a long time — not a feed owned by someone else, not a platform that reshuffles itself every few months, just a plain page I control.
So here it is. The plan is simple:
- Thoughts for whatever I'm chewing on.
- Ventures for the things I'm building.
- Analysis for the longer, more careful write-ups.
- Knowledge for the references I want to keep around and share.
Why write at all
Writing forces the fuzzy stuff in my head to become specific. If I can't explain an idea in a few paragraphs, I probably don't understand it yet. Publishing adds a little healthy pressure to get it right.
I don't expect every post to be polished. Some will be half-formed. That's the point of a personal site — it can hold the rough drafts alongside the finished work.
The best time to start writing was years ago. The second best time is today.
